Uniswap and Arbitrum Soar as Robinhood Chain Becomes Top Fee Generator
The cryptocurrency market has seen significant gains over the past month, driven by rising major cryptocurrencies outside of Bitcoin and stablecoins. According to market data, the TOTAL2ES index, which tracks the market capitalization of all crypto assets except Bitcoin and stablecoins, climbed nearly 32% during this period.
Large-cap altcoins such as Uniswap's UNI token rose 39.1%, while Arbitrum's ARB token surged 107.4%. These tokens are closely tied to the Robinhood Chain ecosystem, with cumulative decentralized exchange volume on Robinhood Chain surpassing $40 billion.
The chain's daily revenue reached over $4 million, outpacing Ethereum, BNB Chain, Hyperliquid, and Base. This is partly due to tokenized stock pairs using Uniswap's highest fee tiers, which recently grew to 4.1% of the chain's volume from nearly zero in August.
The UNIfication upgrade activated Uniswap's fee switch, where fees generated on the network are used to purchase and burn UNI tokens, permanently reducing their supply. With the fee switch live, revenue from Robinhood Chain activity grows, directly boosting UNI burns.
