Uniswap Burns Surge Past $90 Million Amid Robinhood Partnership
Standard Chartered's head of digital asset research, Geoffrey Kendrick, has made a bullish prediction about Uniswap (UNI) token. He suggests that UNI could reach above $100 by 2030 due to the recent surge in UNI burn volume.
The burn rate increased significantly since the activation of the Robinhood-linked fee switch on July 27, reaching an annualized $90 million. This represents about 4% of the circulating supply at current prices.
Kendrick's analysis highlights that while a high burn rate is unlikely to be sustained indefinitely, even if UNI reaches his year-end 2026 target of $6.50, the annualized burn rate would still be around 2.2%, which he considers high over the long term.
