Uniswap Defies Market Downturn as Retail Demand Pushes Token Higher
Uniswap is defying the broader cryptocurrency market downturn as it approaches a critical resistance point at $3.88, according to TMGM trading analysis.
The native decentralized exchange (DEX) token has regained momentum, with retail buying absorbing selling pressure and pushing Open Interest in perpetual futures above 65 million UNI, up from approximately 63 million the day before.
This renewed demand can be attributed in part to Uniswap's strategic ecosystem growth, including its partnership with Securitize on permissioned pools, which gives regulated assets access to automated market making (AMM) liquidity while preserving issuer-defined controls.
The protocol's contribution to the real-world assets (RWAs) sector has also sustained impressive growth, with processed stock token volume on Robinhood Chain rising to $250 million.
