Uniswap Eyes $7 as DigiTap's Pre-Market Price Continues to Climb
Uniswap has staged a significant recovery from its 2026 lows, putting the $7 region firmly back into focus. Growing decentralized exchange activity and changes to UNI's token economics have strengthened this latest move.
The protocol's underlying activity is providing another catalyst for Uniswap's growth. Recent data showed UNI rising roughly 45% over one week as daily trading volume increased from below $400 million to more than $1 billion.
DigiTap, a beta payments app that supports more than 100 crypto assets, remains in presale at $0.0589 with its product already downloadable through the App Store and Google Play. The token is set to direct 50% of app fee profits toward open-market TAP buybacks and burns.
Uniswap's recent momentum has drawn attention partly because protocol activity can now contribute to token burns, creating a direct supply-reduction mechanism around trading activity. This combination makes $7 an important level for UNI, with technical analysis identifying it as a key upside target after the token broke its long-term descending trendline.
