Uniswap Price Breaks Trendline, Eyes $8 Target
Uniswap's price broke above a multi-year descending trendline in July and held its retest in August, confirming a bullish setup for September 2026. The Uniswap price prediction now needs to hold $5.84 to keep the $7-$8 range intact.
The EMA structure has flipped bullish, with the 20-day and 50-day EMAs sitting below price and climbing upwards. The Parabolic SAR has also turned bullish at $4.66 and stayed below price throughout the move.
On a weekly chart, the descending trendline connecting the November 2024 high near $19.50 down through lower highs in 2025 capped Uniswap for nearly two years. Price broke above that trendline in July, pulled back to retest it in August, and is now extending higher again in September.
Uniswap's burn mechanism has been live for eight months, removing an estimated $90 million in UNI per year against a $3.2 billion market cap, about 2.8% of supply annually. This reinforces the bullish case, but it's not guaranteed to continue as it rises and falls with trading activity.
