Uniswap Reveals Live Dashboard Tracking Billions in Fees, Trading Volumes
Uniswap has made a bold move by launching a public dashboard showcasing its financial performance, trading volume, liquidity, integrations, and security history. This unprecedented level of transparency is a first for many companies in traditional finance. The dashboard went live on August 12, providing users, developers, and investors with real-time access to the protocol's key performance indicators.
The dashboard tracks various categories of data across Uniswap's operations, including financial metrics, trading volume, Total Value Locked (TVL), integration partnerships, and security records. One notable figure is that Uniswap has distributed over $4 billion in cumulative fees to liquidity providers since its launch in 2018.
This massive figure highlights the protocol's ability to reward those who supply capital to its trading pools directly, rather than holding it as revenue in a treasury. The dashboard also reflects Uniswap's multi-chain footprint, with operations across over 36 blockchain networks and aggregate 30-day trading volumes reaching tens of billions of dollars.
This move comes roughly 18 months after Uniswap deployed its v4 upgrade in January 2022, which introduced hooks for developers to customize pool behavior and a singleton architecture for gas efficiency. The dashboard provides a way to measure whether these technical innovations have translated into growth, with users able to track v4-specific metrics such as TVL, volume, and swap counts across different chains.
