Uniswap Surpasses $70 Billion DEX Volume Amid Stablecoin Fee Overhaul
Uniswap's decentralized exchange (DEX) volume has surpassed $70.6 billion over the past 30 days, outperforming its competitors PancakeSwap, BisonFi, and Meteora combined.
This milestone is a significant achievement for Uniswap, with its cumulative DEX volume nearing $3.7 trillion since its launch in 2018.
The protocol's growth can be attributed to the increasing adoption of Robinhood Chain, which contributed approximately $26 billion to the total volume, followed by Ethereum at around $23 billion.
Uniswap Labs has also launched StablePair Hook on v4, a feature that adjusts pool fees as prices drift from a reference rate and uses Dutch auctions for corrections. This move is expected to benefit liquidity providers and improve market-making terms.
The Uniswap price has responded positively to the news, rising 4.55% to $6.39. However, it faces resistance between $6.45 and $6.50 and may drop below $6.10 if the Federal Reserve's rate decision on September 16 does not meet market expectations.
