Uniswap Token Price Could Rise 40-Fold to $100 by 2030, Standard Chartered Predicts
Standard Chartered has initiated coverage on Uniswap (UNI) and forecasts that its token price could rise to $100 by the end of 2030, representing a 40-fold increase from its current value of about $2.50.
This prediction is part of a broader expectation by Standard Chartered that tokenized assets active in decentralized finance will grow significantly over the next decade.
The bank estimates that the amount of assets locked in DeFi could reach $2.7 trillion by 2030, up from $70 billion today, with tokenized assets on-chain growing to $4 trillion by 2028 from $340 billion currently.
Standard Chartered's head of digital assets research, Geoffrey Kendrick, attributed this growth to the increasing adoption of DeFi protocols and the expansion of real-world assets into on-chain trading infrastructure.
