Uniswap Trading Volume Explodes to Record Levels, Fee Revenue Unclear
Uniswap has broken its own record for trading volume, handling over 7 million swaps in one day. The decentralized exchange is now processing around 82 swaps per second across various chains.
This milestone comes after a rapid expansion of protocol fees, which are now live across all v2 and v3 pools on 11 chains. On July 27, governance added fee coverage for the Robinhood Chain for both versions.
However, public data does not show how much of this record activity reached fee-enabled pools or generated revenue for the protocol. Despite this, Uniswap's founder Hayden Adams noted that the record pace could expand the fee base and increase UNI burns.
