Uniswap UNI Breaks Above Key Resistance Amid Bullish Momentum
Uniswap (UNI) has extended its recovery after posting strong gains in both daily and weekly trading sessions. The decentralized exchange token has broken above an important technical barrier, reinforcing bullish sentiment across the market.
UNI traded around $4.43 after gaining more than 10% over the past 24 hours and nearly 15% during the previous week. The token's daily trading volume exceeded $435 million, while its market capitalization remained roughly $2.74 billion.
The recent breakout above the 0.786 Fibonacci retracement at $4.33 marked a significant shift in market structure. Buyers quickly pushed the price toward the recent swing high near $4.58 before momentum slowed, suggesting that traders are holding positions instead of locking in profits.
Technical indicators continue to support the uptrend, with UNI trading comfortably above its 20-day EMA at $4.10, 50-day EMA at $3.92, 100-day EMA at $3.77, and 200-day EMA at $3.56.
Derivatives data also paints a more constructive picture, with open interest gradually recovering to nearly $323 million after falling sharply from peaks above $700 million recorded in late 2025. This suggests that traders are rebuilding their exposure to UNI.
