Uniswap V4 Dominates Tokenized-Stock Liquidity with 31% Market Share
Uniswap's V4 platform has seen a significant surge in tokenized-stock liquidity, capturing around 31% of the market with $59.1 million as of writing. This growth is outpacing its rivals, including Kamino and Uniswap V3, which hold $41.7 million and $20.9 million respectively.
This increased liquidity is making V4 a more appealing option for traders, translating into higher trading volumes and investor activity. The sector's TVL (Total Value Locked) has seen a significant increase of 2,218.8%, with Uniswap V3 holding around $41.7 million in TVL.
The growing usage of Uniswap V4 is feeding directly into its economics, with daily revenue surging towards $600,000 and an annualized run rate near $220 million. This increased revenue will provide more capital for UNI burns when the fee swap occurs, reducing supply as activity on the protocol continues to expand.
Arthur Hayes, co-founder of BitMEX, has added to his exposure to Uniswap's token (UNI) by receiving 244,406 UNI worth $1.73 million through Flowdesk. This move is seen as a vote of confidence in Uniswap's future growth.
