Uniswap's Surge Ignites Interest in Smaller-Cap Decentralized Exchange Tokens
Uniswap's recent surge has brought decentralized exchange (DEX) tokens back into focus. The token, which recently jumped 10%, is now trading around $7 after a double-digit rebound.
The surge in Uniswap's price has been driven by increased activity on Robinhood Chain, higher protocol fees, and a stronger burn narrative. This momentum is also driving attention to smaller-cap DEX tokens that have lower valuations and can react more sharply to rising volume and sector demand.
AlphaPepe, priced at $0.02902 in presale Stage 20, has raised a record $2.61 million from over 11,500 holders. The project plans to close its presale and begin DEX trading in Q1 2027 with listings planned at $0.08.
Other smaller-cap DEX tokens mentioned as potential buys include Aerodrome Finance ($0.54 market value), Raydium ($1 market value), Curve DAO ($0.37 market value), and dYdX (smaller public-market name with a decentralised derivatives focus).
