UPay Introduces Scratch & Earn Rewards for Crypto Card Users

UPay has rolled out a new rewards feature for its crypto card users. The feature, called Scratch & Earn, gives users a digital scratch card after making eligible purchases of at least 5 USDT. The scratch card can reveal a reward in USDT, UPay Points, or 'Better Luck Next Time'.

The rewards are not fixed and depend on rules established by UPay. Purchases between 5-49.99 USDT can generate rewards ranging from 0.01 to 0.05 USDT or 1 UPay Point. The ranges continue to increase at higher transaction values, with the largest advertised USDT reward reaching 100 USDT.

The feature is part of a larger trend in crypto cards borrowing ideas from conventional loyalty programs. However, unlike traditional cashback programs, Scratch & Earn introduces an element of chance after the transaction has already occurred.
