Upbit Boosts RLUSD Support, Fueling XRP Ledger Adoption

XRP Ledger adoption is accelerating, according to recent on-chain data showing a significant increase in XRPL wallet adoption. This uptick comes as South Korea's largest crypto exchange, Upbit, enhances its support for Ripple USD (RLUSD) deposits and withdrawals on the XRP Ledger.

The integration is notable because Upbit reportedly holds more than 6.4 billion XRP, making it one of the largest XRP custodians globally and a key gateway for South Korea's large XRP community.

XRPL validator Vet highlighted the significance of this development, stating that 'Upbit has now the infrastructure to support any XRP Ledger-issued assets and opens the door to more integrations.'
