Upbit Delists STORJ, JASMY, TT Citing Unresolved Concerns
South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has announced that it will delist three tokens from its platform in September. The affected assets are Storj (STORJ), JasmyCoin (JASMY), and ThunderCore (TT).
The decision to delist these tokens comes after a warning review by the exchange found that concerns surrounding disclosures, project operations, and token circulation remained unresolved. Upbit placed STORJ under an investment warning on July 28, followed by JASMY and TT on July 31.
The review examined whether the projects had addressed the issues that led to those designations before deciding to terminate trading support. For STORJ and JASMY, Upbit cited deficiencies involving the disclosure of information that could materially affect investors. The exchange also reviewed changes to ThunderCore's business plan and whether the procedures surrounding those changes were transparent and reasonable.
The delisting will take effect on September 14 at 3:00 p.m. Korea Standard Time, with all outstanding buy and sell orders for the affected pairs canceled. Upbit will continue processing withdrawals for the three cryptocurrencies for 30 days after the delisting, with withdrawal support scheduled to end on October 14.
