Upbit Expands Trading Infrastructure with Eight New Token Pairs
Upbit, South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchange by volume, has expanded its trading infrastructure to include eight new pairs for four tokens. The additions are BICO/BTC and BICO/USDT for Biconomy (BICO), BMT/BTC and BMT/USDT for Bubblemaps (BMT), NIL/BTC and NIL/USDT for Nillion (NIL), and GWEI/BTC and GWEI/USDT for ETHGas (GWEI).
The new pairs will be available on August 21 at 13:00 KST, giving Korean retail traders direct access to these assets against both Bitcoin and Tether. This move is part of Upbit's strategy to deepen liquidity and widen the on-ramp for international traders who don't deal in Korean won.
The four tokens represent a diverse cross-section of crypto infrastructure. Biconomy operates as a cross-chain interoperability protocol, Bubblemaps builds data visualization tools for on-chain analytics, Nillion focuses on decentralized infrastructure for processing sensitive data, and ETHGas provides Ethereum gas analytics and tooling.
