The South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has temporarily suspended deposits and withdrawals for all cryptocurrencies operating on the Polygon network, effective from 11:00 a.m. UTC today.

This move is tied to an upcoming hard fork on the Polygon (POL) blockchain, which requires exchanges to pause network activity to ensure asset safety and chain stability.

The suspension affects not only POL but also other tokens that rely on Polygon for transfers, such as GMT (STEPN).

Traders and investors holding POL or GMT on Upbit should monitor the exchange's official announcements for updates, as services will resume once the network upgrade is complete and stability is confirmed.
