The halt is scheduled to begin at 9:00 a.m. UTC on August 24, according to an official notice from the exchange.

While the exact reason was not disclosed, similar suspensions typically occur during network upgrades or wallet maintenance.

Upbit is one of the largest crypto exchanges in South Korea, handling significant trading volume in the region. This suspension affects traders holding CFX, who will be temporarily unable to move their tokens in or out of the exchange.
