Upbit Hits $8 Billion Weekly Crypto Volume with XRP Leading the Charge

South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, has reported a weekly trading volume of $8 billion. This represents a 6.74% increase from the previous week.

XRP emerged as the most actively traded asset on Upbit, surpassing Bitcoin and USDT in won-denominated pairs favored by Korean traders.

The strong local demand for XRP supports its price stability and highlights its significant role in the Asian crypto market, despite its lower global market cap ranking.
