Upbit has announced the launch of a new market for the LIT token on its platform, effective August 24. This development allows users to trade LIT against the Korean won (KRW), expanding trading options for the Lighter project's utility token.

The LIT/KRW pair will be listed at 1:00 p.m. KST, with provisional rules regulating initial trading and liquidity. Ethereum will serve as the sole network allowed for LIT deposit/withdrawals on Upbit.

Buy orders for LIT/KRW will be halted for five minutes after launch, and sell orders will be restricted if the price falls more than 10% below the reference price. Limit orders will be enabled during the first two hours after announcement, followed by market orders.
