Upbit Lists Block Street Token Ahead of South Korean Trading Debut
South Korean cryptocurrency exchange Upbit has announced that it will list Block Street's BSB token on its platform, effective August 7. The token will be available for trading in Korean won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC), and USDT markets.
The listing notice from Upbit states that deposits and withdrawals of BSB will initially be supported only through the Ethereum network, with other networks being unsupported for now. However, users are warned to verify the supported network before transferring BSB, as deposits sent through unsupported networks may require a lengthy return process.
During the token's opening period, Upbit plans to impose several restrictions, including blocking buy orders for about five minutes after trading begins and restricting sell orders priced more than 10% below the previous day's closing price. Additionally, only limit orders will be allowed for roughly two hours after trading support starts.
