South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, has expanded its trading platform to include EURC, the euro-backed stablecoin issued by Circle. This move makes it easier for South Korean traders to access a euro-denominated digital asset and provides more options for managing currency risk.

The new trading pairs - EURC/KRW, EURC/BTC, and EURC/USDT - went live at 5:00 a.m. UTC today, allowing users to trade against the euro without first converting to USDT or another intermediary asset.

This listing on Upbit marks a significant step for the stablecoin's adoption in Asia and reflects the growing importance of stablecoins in the global crypto ecosystem.
