Upbit Lists HOME, Bithumb Adds META2 and USDG Amid Korean Exchange Listings
South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchanges Upbit and Bithumb have announced new listings for four tokens. Home, a DeFi token from Defi App, will be listed on Upbit's KRW and USDT markets at 17:00 KST on August 4. The listing comes after HOME traded about 32% higher over the past 24 hours.
Bithumb has added two new tokens to its won market: META2 from MetaDAO and USDG, a dollar stablecoin issued by Paxos Digital Singapore. Bithumb will open trading for both assets at 16:00 KST on August 4.
The listings bring attention to South Korea's active retail market and add variety to the region's cryptocurrency offerings. However, it is essential to note that the exchanges have mentioned possible restrictions due to liquidity concerns.
