Upbit Lists Six Altcoins Including DePIN and AI Tokens in BTC and USDT Markets
Upbit has listed six new altcoins on its platform, including DePIN and AI tokens. The listing occurred on August 10 at 2:00 p.m. KST, with the tokens launching against both Bitcoin (BTC) and Tether (USDT).
The batch of altcoins includes Cysic (CYS), a ComputeFi ecosystem; Impossible Cloud Network (ICNT), a DePIN-based cloud infrastructure project; Anoma (XAN), a decentralized operating system connecting multiple blockchains; OpenEden (EDEN), a non-custodial lending protocol built on Ethereum; AIOZ Network (AIOZ), a Web3 infrastructure project fusing blockchain with DePIN; and Allora Network (ALLO), a decentralized machine intelligence network.
The listing has exposed Korean traders to various projects that previously required swapping on decentralized venues or accessing smaller offshore exchanges. Upbit's order books can inject liquidity into low-cap tokens, but also expose new users to technical complexity they may not fully understand.
