Upbit Lists Six New Altcoins with Trading Restrictions
South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Upbit, has listed six new altcoins for trading. The assets in question are Cysic (CYS), Impossible Cloud Network (ICNT), Anoma (XAN), OpenEden (EDEN), AIOZ Network (AIOZ), and Allora (ALLO). These coins will be available to trade with Bitcoin (BTC) and Tether (USDT) pairs starting at 14:00 on August 10.
The exchange has specified the networks for deposit and withdrawal transactions for each asset. CYS and ICNT can be transferred via Base, while XAN, EDEN, and AIOZ will use Ethereum. Allora (ALLO), however, will require users to utilize the Allora network. Upbit warns that deposits made through other networks may face delays in refunds.
The exchange has also implemented trading restrictions for the first 5 minutes after listing support begins. Buy orders for these assets will be limited during this time, and only limit orders will be accepted for approximately 2 hours following the listing. Additionally, sellers of these new altcoins cannot sell at levels more than 10% below their previous day's closing price.
According to CoinMarketCap data, the reference closing prices from the previous day for BTC and USDT pairs were shared: CYS (0.00001516 BTC / 0.987 USDT), ICNT (0.00000203 BTC / 0.1323 USDT), XAN (0.00000027 BTC / 0.01760 USDT), EDEN (0.00000065 BTC / 0.04236 USDT), AIOZ (0.00000072 BTC / 0.0469 USDT), and ALLO (0.00000483 BTC / 0.3146 USDT).
