Upbit Puts Conflux on Notice with Multi-Pair Listing
South Korea's largest crypto exchange, Upbit, is launching Conflux Network's native token CFX on July 31. Trading pairs will be available against the Korean Won (KRW), Bitcoin (BTC), and Tether (USDT) simultaneously at 14:00 KST.
This is an unusual move for an exchange listing, as most start with a single base pair and expand later. Upbit's decision to list CFX against these three pairs suggests strong conviction in the token's liquidity potential.
Conflux Network is a Chinese regulatory-compliant public blockchain founded by academics in 2018. Its unique positioning sets it apart from other Layer 1 networks, which often operate in a gray area with respect to Chinese regulators.
The network recently integrated support for the Infini stablecoin and partnered with Fireblocks for institutional custody. The Conflux 3.0 upgrade, expected in August, aims to increase transaction throughput to 15,000 transactions per second.
