Upbit, South Korea's largest cryptocurrency exchange, has seen its 24-hour trading volume skyrocket by 223.8% to reach $1.67 billion, according to data from CoinGecko cited by The Block.

This surge in activity aligns with a broader market rebound as Bitcoin, the leading cryptocurrency, posted a sharp short-term rally.

At the time of writing, Bitcoin is trading at $75,823.86, up 8.55% over the past 24 hours and 20.37% over the past seven days, according to CoinMarketCap.

The spike in volume on Upbit suggests that traders are responding to Bitcoin's price momentum, possibly driven by a combination of macroeconomic factors, institutional inflows, and short-term technical breakouts.
