Upexi Files $1B Shelf Registration to Bolster Solana Holdings
Nasdaq-listed Upexi, a consumer products company, has filed a $1 billion shelf registration with the SEC, giving it flexibility to raise capital over the next three years.
The filing does not represent an immediate capital raise and allows the company to issue various securities, including common stock, preferred shares, debt instruments, and warrants.
Upexi currently holds approximately 2.1 million SOL tokens, valued at around $262 million at current prices, making it the fourth-largest Solana treasury among publicly listed companies.
The shelf registration will enable Upexi to fund general corporate purposes, including working capital, research and development, acquisitions, and debt repayment, with additional Solana purchases remaining part of the stated strategy.
