The US and UK have reaffirmed their commitment to closer financial regulatory cooperation on AI and digital assets.

A joint statement from the two countries emphasized the importance of modernizing regulation and protecting financial stability to boost economic growth.

The 13th official meeting of the U.K.-U.S. Financial Regulatory Working Group (FRWG) was held in London, where senior government officials and regulators discussed issues related to digital finance, including stablecoins and competition.

The meeting also touched on the recommendations of the U.S.-U.K. Transatlantic Taskforce for Markets of the Future (TTMF), which aims to advance financial services collaboration between the two countries.
