US Authorities Disrupt Hamas Crypto Fundraising Network Seizing Over $560k
The US authorities have disrupted a digital fundraising network tied to Hamas, seizing over $560,000 in cryptocurrency and gaining control of related websites and communication platforms.
Court-authorized actions allowed the FBI to take control of the infrastructure used by Hamas's military wing, the Al Qassam Brigades, to solicit donations from supporters around the world.
The group had been using a complex fundraising model that mixed encrypted chats, public websites, and rotating cryptocurrency addresses to move money outside conventional banking channels.
A $560,000 figure was not the result of a single raid, but rather the culmination of three cryptocurrency seizure warrants executed on March 25, June 25, and October 10, 2025.
