US Bank Completes Stablecoin Test on Stellar Blockchain
US Bank has completed a successful test of its stablecoin USBDC on the Stellar (XLM) blockchain. The test was conducted to facilitate real-time cross-border payments between the bank's North American and European divisions.
The integration with existing risk and compliance management systems will enable US Bank to review ways to use stablecoins for 24/7 payments, liquidity management, cross-border treasury management, and faster payment and settlement.
