US Bitcoin ETFs Reach $180 Billion in Assets Amid Institutional Growth
U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs have seen significant growth in assets, reaching $180 billion by 2026, according to recent data. This growth has been driven by institutions such as banks, pension funds, and asset managers gaining exposure to Bitcoin without the challenges of direct ownership.
The ETFs have enabled these institutions to invest in Bitcoin, with holdings peaking near 1.38 million BTC and stabilizing around 1.2 million BTC despite Bitcoin trading between $115,000 and $125,000.
This shift marks a fundamental change in Bitcoin's market structure, supported by regulated financial infrastructure and growing global interest.
