US Commerce Publishes Official Economic Data on Blockchain Networks
The US Department of Commerce has partnered with Chainlink to publish official macroeconomic data on blockchain networks. This marks the first time a federal agency has made economic statistics available on-chain, using data from the Bureau of Economic Analysis.
The initiative includes six key indicators updated monthly or quarterly and aims to enhance transparency through blockchain technology.
This collaboration may expand to more networks, reflecting a broader government push to integrate economic data with decentralized finance ecosystems.
