US Crypto Ambitions Remain Within Reach Despite Regulatory Uncertainty

Share

Ripple's CEO Brad Garlinghouse is still optimistic about the United States becoming the global center of the cryptocurrency industry. Despite ongoing regulatory and legislative uncertainty, he believes that making America the 'crypto capital of the world' remains within reach.

This comment comes after a White House event on August 19, where leading figures from the US innovation sector gathered alongside senior administration officials. The meeting aimed to bring together prominent figures from finance, crypto, and technology ahead of the first meeting of the CFTC's Innovation Advisory Committee.

The CLARITY Act, a major crypto bill discussed during the White House meeting, is facing a challenging moment. The Senate is expected to hold an initial vote on September 15, but the House will only be in session for four days afterward, leaving little time to consider and pass the Senate's version.
