US Crypto Regulations Nearing Clarity After CFTC Meeting

Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse believes that the US is closer than ever to establishing clear regulations for cryptocurrencies following a meeting of the Commodity Futures Trading Commission's Innovation Advisory Committee.

The committee, which includes leaders from traditional and crypto finance, aims to update outdated rules and foster innovation in the industry.

Garlinghouse pointed out that Ripple's long legal battle with the SEC over XRP has provided clarity for the industry after a judge ruled that XRP is not a security.
