US Directive Favors Acquiring More Bitcoin Amid Rising Market Share
A recent US official directive has favored acquiring more Bitcoin, which could be a positive sign for the cryptocurrency market. According to TradingView, the policy guidance is budget-neutral and does not provide specific details on BTCUSD price or volume.
BTCUSD's market share has been rising in August, reaching around 58-60%, while options skew flipped from deep negative to positive for the first time since October 2025. The implied volatility of September rose by 33.8% to 41.1%, but now stands at 38.5%. I/O Fund cites a $2M long-term Bitcoin target and notes that BTCUSD spot volume hit a two-year low, with reduced buying interest around the recent BTCUSD spot low.
BTCUSD's price is currently around $78,917, up about 1% in the last 24 hours. Eric Trump says institutions now drive demand for Bitcoin, which he bought in the high-$50k to low-$60k range. American Bitcoin Corp. holds 8,300 BTC, and Capital B has raised €21M to buy around 270 BTC, potentially boosting their holdings to around 3,415 BTC.
