US Escalates Military Actions Against Iran Amid Ongoing Conflict
The US is escalating its military actions against Iran following a series of Iranian ballistic missile attacks targeting American forces in the Middle East. In response, President Donald Trump declared that US strikes on Iran will continue indefinitely, stating 'US strikes on Iran would persist until I personally decided otherwise.'
The confrontation between the two countries began earlier this year with Iranian missile strikes dating back to March 2026. A brief window of hope opened in June when an interim peace deal aimed at de-escalating hostilities was negotiated, but it ultimately collapsed.
The US Treasury has taken action against Iran's central bank, freezing over $130 million in digital assets tied to the bank. The Treasury also designated major Iranian cryptocurrency exchanges, including Nobitex, Wallex, and Bitpin, under counterterrorism authorities.
