US Fiscal Pressures Ignite Bitcoin Rally, According to Pantera Capital
Pantera Capital's Dan Morehead believes that US fiscal pressures have triggered a surge in Bitcoin and crypto markets. He points out that nations like the United States face no real exit from their current economic trajectory, leading to a rally in digital assets.
According to Morehead, this is not just about speculation or hype, but rather a fundamental shift in the global economy. He notes that Bitcoin has historically delivered 70% annual gains, outperforming traditional paper money which experiences debasement at a rate of 3.4% per year.
The current price action in Bitcoin shows it trading within its Bollinger Bands at $77,064.81. The EMA50 at $77,499.82 acts as immediate resistance above the EMA200 at $71,913.32. However, technical indicators such as the MACD death cross at -319.57 and RSI at 40.32 suggest a bearish structure.
This structure is likely to lead to a test of the lower band support at $76,602.89 before any sustained move higher in line with long-term BTC price prediction models.
