US Government Moves $23k in BTC from Seized-Funds Wallet After 4-Month Hiatus
The U.S. government has made its first recorded on-chain Bitcoin transfer since November 2025, moving approximately $23,000 from a seized-funds wallet.
According to blockchain data from Arkham Intelligence, three transactions were recorded from the address tagged 'U.S. Government: Miguel Villanueva Seized Funds (bc1qw)' on Tuesday. The total value of these transfers is around $23,000 at current prices.
The receiving addresses have no prior history and do not show any clustering with known exchange deposit wallets, suggesting that the funds may be being consolidated internally rather than sold.
