US Government Transfers $1.9M in Bitcoin from FTX Alameda Wallet
The U.S. government has transferred 24.41 BTC from an FTX wallet tied to seized funds, according to recent blockchain data.
The transfer was made on August 27, 2026, and represents a value of approximately $1.92 million at the current Bitcoin price of $78,600.
The move has renewed questions about further liquidations from the FTX Alameda seized funds wallet.
An analysis of the transaction suggests that the price is sitting within Bollinger Bands with an upper resistance level at $80,323 and lower support at $77,088. The 50-day exponential moving average (EMA) is currently at $75,461 and the 200-day EMA is at $68,737.
