Crypto-related stocks took a hit as U.S. markets opened lower on [Insert Date]. The decline was broad-based, affecting major exchanges, miners, and corporate holders of Bitcoin.

Gemini (GEMI) led the downturn with a 4.37% drop, while American Bitcoin (ABTC) fell 4.35%. Bitcoin mining firms MARA Holdings (MARA) and Riot Blockchain (RIOT) also saw significant losses, down 3.64% and 2.77%, respectively.

Crypto corporate treasury holders and trading platforms were not immune to the sell-off. Strategy (MSTR), which holds a substantial Bitcoin reserve, declined 3.55%. Coinbase (COIN), the largest U.S.-based cryptocurrency exchange, fell 3.13%, while trading app Robinhood (HOOD) was down 2.27%.

The coordinated move lower suggests a risk-off sentiment among investors in the digital asset sector at the opening bell. This pattern often mirrors the price action of Bitcoin and other major cryptocurrencies, which have a strong correlation with the equity prices of companies holding or transacting in them.
