US Senate Sets September 15 Vote on CLARITY Act, Boosting Crypto Hopes
The US Senate has set September 15 for a crucial vote on the CLARITY Act, a bill that could provide clearer federal rules for digital assets. The vote will determine whether the chamber should move forward and begin formally debating the bill, which aims to define when digital assets fall under securities rules or can be treated as commodities.
The CLARITY Act has already made progress in the Senate Banking Committee, where it was advanced by 15 votes to nine with two Democrats joining Republicans. If passed, it would establish clearer rules for digital-asset classification, regulatory oversight, disclosures, and the operation of crypto trading platforms.
AlphaPepe, a project currently in presale, is positioning itself ahead of this vote. Its Stage 19 presale sold out quickly, and Stage 20 is live at $0.02761 with over $2.45 million raised and more than 11,000 holders before public trading.
A successful September 15 vote would improve confidence across exchanges, developers, and retail communities, potentially leading to clearer token classifications and reduced uncertainty for new assets launching in the US.
