US Stock Futures Fall Amid Escalating Middle East Tensions
U.S. stock futures fell on Wednesday as the Dow Jones, S&P 500, and Nasdaq 100 dropped following Tuesday's lower close.
The decline was attributed to escalating supply disruption fears after CENTCOM destroyed five Iranian oil tankers in response to attacks on U.S. naval vessels and Houthi strikes targeted Saudi energy facilities.
Brent crude surged towards $100 per barrel as a result of these events.
