US Stock Futures Rebound Amid Yield Concerns as Bitcoin Hits New High
US stock futures rose Friday as Wall Street attempted to recover from Thursday’s yield-driven sell-off.
Dow futures gained about 0.7%, while S&P 500 futures rose 0.5%. Nasdaq 100 futures advanced 0.8% before the opening bell.
The recovery came despite major indexes staying on course for weekly losses, with rising Treasury yields, higher oil prices and tensions between Washington and Tehran limiting risk appetite.
Bitcoin traded near $79,500 early Friday after starting the week around $62,837, its weekly advance standing near 23% as demand returned to the crypto market.
