US Stock Token Hype Highlights Blockchain Development Gaps
The recent hype surrounding US stock tokens on various blockchain networks has highlighted significant differences in their development and adoption. BNB Chain, led by Binance, has launched bStocks, which are issued by BTech Holdings and correspond to real underlying stocks. As of June 2026, BNB Chain has listed 70 US stock tokens with a total issuance market cap of $687M.
However, the chain's listing speed for new bStocks cannot keep up with the hype, allowing Robinhood Chain to outperform in this round of US stock Meme trends. Robinhood Chain has launched 194 US stock tokens with a total issuance market cap of $158M, thanks to its unified base prospectus approved by Liechtenstein's FMA.
Base Chain, on the other hand, has a slower listing speed and fewer US stock tokens listed, with only 10 tokens and a total issuance market cap of $12M. Solana does not have its own self-issued US stock token system but uses third-party-issued xStocks instead.
The development of US stock Memes on these chains varies, with Robinhood Chain's Pons Launchpad producing popular Memes such as '牛来' and 'MarsCoin.' BNB Chain's Four Meme Launchpad has also launched 4Stock, which allows users to mint tokens at a 1:1 ratio based on the actual number of shares purchased.
