The US stock market experienced a modest decline this week, but managed to bounce back on Friday amid solid economic data and rising business activity.

The Dow Jones Industrial Average climbed by 1% as investors digested the latest figures. The Nasdaq 100 also halted its five-day drop ahead of Nvidia Corp.'s results, which are scheduled for Wednesday.

Bitcoin prices rose to around $77,000, while Treasuries saw mild losses and oil notched a weekly gain.

Investors are still assessing the fallout from recent bond yield spikes driven by inflation concerns and government spending. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent is set to announce a new initiative aimed at fiscal consolidation.
