US Targets Japan's Monetary Policy via Crypto Route Fails to Impress Experts
The US is seeking to influence Japan's monetary policy, but experts say this goal could be unattainable using Bitcoin. The LCX Exchange has weighed in on the matter.
LCX AG, a company based in Liechtenstein, recently applied for authorisation as a crypto-asset service provider under MiCA (EU 2023/1114), with its application currently being reviewed by the Financial Market Authority (FMA) Liechtenstein. However, LCX notes that it does not currently offer services to persons in the EEA pending authorisation and existing clients are limited to withdrawals during this wind-down period.
Crypto-assets like Bitcoin involve significant risks, including total loss, according to LCX. The company explicitly states that it does not provide services to persons in the United States or the United Kingdom.
