USD1 Stablecoin Used in New Real-World Asset Product
Concrete has launched a new vault for eligible participants using World Liberty Financial's USD1 stablecoin. The vault, called the USD1 RWA Vault, is designed to provide exposure to real-world investment opportunities through private credit and digital infrastructure strategies.
The initial portfolio includes four types of real-world strategies: settlement liquidity from ZIG Markets, tokenized private credit from Qiro, short-duration asset-backed private credit in Europe from Colb, and financing linked to digital infrastructure from Origin Assets.
The vault's potential yield is linked to the underlying real-world activities, rather than relying on liquidity incentives or trading strategies. This means that participants may face risks tied to the underlying borrowers, businesses, and assets, including credit, counterparty, liquidity, smart-contract, and regulatory risks.
Access to the vault is currently restricted to whitelisted liquidity providers who must complete an onboarding process and enter into definitive agreements before accessing the product. Holding USD1 does not automatically qualify a user for participation or generate a return.
