USDC Lands Chelsea Deal as USDT Surpasses $183B Market Cap

Circle has signed a landmark partnership with Chelsea FC, putting USDC branding on the front of the club's shirts during the 2026/27 season.

The deal represents another step in stablecoins moving beyond crypto-native applications, with USDC already carrying a market capitalization around $74 billion and making it the second-largest dollar-backed stablecoin behind USDT.

Tether remains significantly larger, with a market capitalization of approximately $183.4 billion, underlining the enormous amount of dollar-linked liquidity already sitting inside crypto.
