USDC Lands Premier League Shirt Sponsorship Deal with Chelsea FC

Circle's USDC stablecoin brand has been chosen as the main shirt sponsor for Chelsea FC for the upcoming 2026/27 Premier League season. The deal makes Circle the first crypto financial-services company to hold this position.

The new shirts, which feature both the Circle and USDC brands, will debut in Chelsea's first home game against Brighton & Hove Albion on Sunday. Financial terms of the partnership were not disclosed, but it was reported that Chelsea sought around £65 million ($88 million) per year for the front-of-shirt position.

Circle CEO Jeremy Allaire said the partnership reflects the company's view that money should move freely across borders like information does.
